In 1992, Rick Elias photographed his first group of dancers. Between 1998 and 2001, he photographed series of thirteen ballet photography sessions that came to be known as the "I Want to Be a Ballerina" Ballet Photography Project. The images above represent each of these sessions, and by clicking on the image or the date, you can see a presentation of select images from these sessions.
